Context

Training evaluation is the systematic process of analysing training programmes to ensure that it is delivered effectively. Training evaluation identifies training gaps and opportunities for improving training programmes.

This course will provide personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to implement the evaluation processes, measure the impact of delivered training on work performance, and enhance the quality of course development and delivery processes. The course enables also to conduct the validation of competency-based training courses.

• Fundamentals of the post-training evaluation methodology.
• Post-training evaluation procedures and tools.
• Implementation of the evaluation in a training organisation.
• Methodologies, tools, and techniques to run a monitoring and evaluation system.
• Knowledge, skills, and attitude and ISD.
• Issues identification and overall processes of training programmes improvement.
• Analysis of the effectiveness of training materials and tools.
• Participants’ experience assessment.

• Ability to understand the theoretical framework and structure of the methodology.

• Ability to promote training evaluation culture in the organisation.

• Duration: 4 days initial/2 days recurrent.
