Context
The privileges of aircraft maintenance licenses and the delivery of aircraft maintenance training are regulated under EASA Part-66 and Part-147.
By attending this training, participants will be familiar with the conditions under which a maintenance technician is authorised to release an aircraft into service after a maintenance operation (EASA Part-66).
By attending this training participants will also have a solid understanding of the responsibilities to comply with relevant maintenance training regulations under EASA Part-147.

- Part-66 course requirements and types.
- Part-66 Licence levels (A, B1, B2 and C); limits of these grades and building a business case for delegation.
- Aircraft ratings under Part-66.
- Maintenance training organisation (MTO) Form 4 holder and management responsibilities.
- Running an effective Part-147 approval – organisation, documentation, planning and control.
Training objectives
- Understanding of the EASA Part-66 license system.
- Understanding of the relationship between Part-66 license and organisational approval processes
- Understanding of the role of the Part-147 training organisation.
- Introduction to the procedures for the approval and management of a Part-147 organisation.

- Duration: 2 days initial/1 day recurrent.
